POT#23 HIDE AND SEEK BISCUITS

 Hide and seek is a choco-chip cookie that is being popular among the children. 

Checkout out this healthy homemade hide and seek biscuit made out of Ragi and wheat flour, which are highly nutritious. This requires no raising agents. The ingredient contains brown sugar, a healthy substitute for white sugar.

Dish: Hide and Seek
Quantity: 15 Biscuits

Let us now check out the required ingredients.

Ingredients:

Ragi flour              - 1/2 cup
Wheat flour           - 1/2 cup
Brown sugar          - 1/3 cup
Butter                     - 1/4 cup 
Chocolate powder - 2 tbsp
Milk                        - 4 tbsp
Chocolate chips     - 4 tbsp(as required)

Procedure:

  1. Take 1/4 cup of butter in a mixing bowl, add 1/3 cup of brown sugar to it.

  2. Beat the butter and sugar well until stiff peaks are formed.

  3. Add the ragi and wheat flours along with the chocolate powder.

  4. Add choco chips to the mixture. Crumble and mix the flours well.

  5. Add the milk to the mixture and knead it to a dough.

  6. Now take a small part of the dough and give it a square shape.

  7. With the blunt part of the knife, press it on the dough to give a hide and seek mark.

  8. Press a few choco-chip cookies on the biscuit dough.
  9. Preheat a pan in medium flame for 10 minutes.

  10. Brush a plate with some butter and place the moulded biscuit dough on the plate.

  11. Place a cooker stand inside the pan and keep the plate on it.
  12. Close and cook for 20 minutes.

  13. Yummilcious and healthy Hide and Seek biscuits are now ready.

Tips and Tricks:

  1. Adjust the sweetness of the biscuit as per your taste.
  2. You can mould the biscuits with help of a cookie cutter or using a knife.
  3. You can also bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
